Dr. Bronner's Magic All-One Soap Loves Bunnies!

We got great news today...the amazing folks at Dr. Bronner's are donating their wonderful soap to Special Bunny! We discovered that some of the cleaners we had been using are made by companies that are tested on animals (gag!) and usually this means tested on rabbits (beyond terrible) so you can imagine our horror. We immediately looked around for a better solution, and one of our volunteers contacted Dr. Bronner's. And they responded immediately, donating enough of their wonderful product to take care of all of our cleaning needs for over a year.

Dr. Bronner's All-One soap is all natural and never ever tested on animals, unless you count the gentle butt-baths that our very own volunteer Jacq gives her special-needs bunny Valiant using this wonderous soap. She has been using Dr. Bronner's for years, which can be used for everything from heavy-duty cleaning to the gentlest of bunny butt-cleansers (bet they've never used THAT in their ads, now have they!?

Dr. Bronner's is concentrated so a little goes a long way. It can be diluted and used as hand soap (50/5Valiant, owner of the bunny butt herein referenced.0 water/soap), 40 parts water and 1 part soap for a surface cleaner, 1/4 cup plus 1 tbs baking soda can be used at laundry detergent (it's what Jacq use at home), and, with just a drop or two in a sinkfull of water, it can  be used as a bunny shampoo.

Please check out this link and find out the many uses of Dr. Bronner's wonderful sudsy miracle mixture!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Bronner's for your generous and oh-so-meaningful donation. If you're quiet enough, you might just hear the sound of 80 bunnies clapping their paws.

I use Dr. Bronners for everything. My bun, Chompsky, has been a little mess maker lately, and had an awfully messy bum. Thanks for making this post! I was unsure if Dr. Bronners would be safe to use on her or not, but now I have a very clean, yet somewhat annoyed, bun hopping around my place! Thanks for all you do!
