Welcome to Special Bunny!

We are a Seattle-area house rabbit rescue and we have lots of great, healthy bunnies for adoption. We are also experts when it comes to special-needs house rabbits, and we want our website to become a resource for special-needs bunny owners. We care for 60-80 bunnies at our shelter, and we provide permanent sanctuary for bunnies who need specialized care. We are an all-volunteer, registered 501(c)3 organization.

The Annual Bunny Party: April 8, 2017, 11am - 6pm


Bunny Party! 2017 is a fundraiser for Seattle Animal Shelter and Special Bunny Rescue, hosted by Ugly Baby and La Ru. 100% of ticket sales are donated to the two organizations - along with 10% of all sales at Ugly Baby and La Ru during the event.

The egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. It will be along Western Avenue from Ugly Baby and La Ru to the paper feather and at the participating Market Shops throughout Pike Place Market. A flyer of participating shops will be available at Ugly Baby and La Ru.

The silent auction at Jarr Bar (right next door to Ugly Baby and La Ru) will be from 12pm-3pm. You can bid on custom art, baskets full of goodies, and a date night out. 100% of auction sales will go directly to Special Bunny.

If you would like to visit with the bunnies, you need to purchase a ticket for a specific time frame. 100% of ticket sales go directly to Seattle Animal Shelter and Special Bunny Rescue. Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult. Each ticket includes a swag bag. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure maximum bunny time. There is no charge for children under three to attend.

***Ticket sales end at 6pm on Friday April 7th! Limited tickets will be available at the door for $17 each.***
